Overnight Oats Apple-Blackberry

After a weekend spent having a lot of barbecues, we want to start the new week with a low calorie healthy breakfast which is also vegan. For fruits we use blackberries that are high in vitamin C and iron. You need to make sure they are ripe when you buy them since they don’t after-ripen. That’s why the berries should be full and round already.

For one portion you need

  • 4 tbsp rolled oats (40 g)
  • 8 tbsp apple juice
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp applesauce
  • ½ pack of blackberries (62,5 g)
  • 1 tbsp sliced almonds

Overnight Oat Apfel Brombeere

Instructions

  1. Mix rolled oats, chia seeds and apple juice in a jar.
  2. Then add applesauce, followed by blackberries and sliced almonds.
  3. Seal the jar and put in fridge overnight.
